Brad C. Freeman was born in Harlan, Kentucky on August 15 1963. He is a 1982 Graduate of Cumberland High School in Cumberland, Kentucky and a 1987 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law with a Juris Doctorate and was admitted to the Kentucky bar on October 5, 1990. During law school, he earned multiple Dean's list honors and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. He served as president of the Whitley County Bar Association and has held memberships in the American Bar Association and the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. He is approved to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is also a member of the Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys. He is a past member of the Williamsburg Independent School District Board of Education and has served on the board of directors for Whitley County Communities for Children and the Appalachian Children's Home. He is also an ordained minister in the Church of God, with headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee. | |
